Hi! I am Bill Basset, Group Director of Interclean Group & iClean Conference Founder. We are very excited to be bringing you the best Infection Control and Environmental Services Professionals for this year’s conference.
I spent 8 months last year traveling to over 30 countries, talking to the best facilities in hospital and aged care cleaning and I am fired up about how many things we can do to improve healthcare cleaning and infection control outcomes through our cleaners.

Fiona Nemetz is coming back and sharing her knowledge about building teams and bringing out the best in your workforce, making collaboration easy between Infection Control and Environmental Services.
Dr. Ruth Caricco will be sharing more information about taking care of our biggest patient, our facility. The environment of care is her passion, and she will discuss the most recent findings since Covid along with the many ways you can connect with your staff and ensure they understand the importance of their roles in protecting again HIAs.
Karen Vickery, one of our awesome Australians, has conducted extensive research on biofilms. She's going to share her discoveries on the best ways to either prevent or reduce biofilms, what we should be doing on a weekly basis, and how often we should be cleaning different types of surfaces.
Prof Didier Pettit, head of Clean Hospitals, will be sharing how Healthcare Environmental hygiene is increasingly recognised as critical in Infection Prevention and Control (IPC). The Clean Hospitals’ latest international project HEHSAF, has been helping healthcare facilities identify areas for improvement in their environmental hygiene programs and bench improvements over time.
